■PC しゃーぽん見てきた
率直な感想は
「これって、まだ自由に触れる状態で展示出来る完成度じゃないっす…」
という感じです。
写真も、裏蓋あけてリセットボタンを押した後の起動画面だったりします。
私が触ったのは夕方16時以降だったのですが、ウィルコムブースで触った２台と、シャープブースで触った１台の計３台が、例外なくフリーズや処理激重状態になり、リセットをかけないと復旧しない状態になりました。
電話をかける事はできたんですけど、それ以外の機能はとりあえず乗せただけっぽく、ブラウザもメーラーも、さらには画面の縦横切り替えさえも、まともに動きませんでした。これを踏まえてウィルコムブースの人に「まさかこれで売らないよね」と聞いたところ、やはりフリーズが多発しているらしく「現在の展示機は開発中の機械でして、個体差も出ております。現状では単なるコールドモックと考えていただけると助かります」とのことです。
なのでポケットPC系未体験の方は、あれが本来のOSのポテンシャルと考えないほうがいいかと。あれは「もっさり」とかそういう状況でなくて、単に「本来出せないものを出してきた」というのが正しい状況かと思われます。
なので中身については評価できませんが、電話機についてはある程度インプレッション出来ますので幾つか箇条書き。
いいところ
・キーボードがかなり使いやすい。リナザウよりいいんでないの？
・思ったより手にジャストフィット。
・ＡＣアダプタがザウルスと共通。USBポートもMiniBで京ぽんと同じ。
ヤバそうなところ
・思ったより筐体剛性ない。ズボンの尻ポケットに入れて座るとか、携帯的な使い方は絶対無理。
・全体にちゃちい。落とすと速攻で壊れること請け合い。
・持ってると手のひらが熱くなる。
こんな感じです。
まあ、OSさえまともに動けばかなりいい端末ではないかと思いますが、どうなることやら。
京ぽん2が非常に良かっただけに、選択に迷う人が増えそうですね。
